Blustery Days

J.Crew Shirt (thrifted) // Ralph Lauren Sweater (thrifted) // Buffalo Cords

UO Bag (thrifted) // Thrifted Duck Boots + Scarf // Target Socks

As Whinnie the Pooh would say, it's been blustery. The kind of blustery that assures that any attempt to wear a skirt or dress will result in a wardrobe malfuntion. So pants it's been. I wore this into Philly last night to have dinner with a friend and the hostesses gave my boots a few funny glances. I guess Duck Boots aren't quite as magical if you don't have to wade through mudd to check on chickens or play with your moose of a puppy everyday. But then again, no other shoe can compare to the warmth of Duck Boots so I'd still wear 'em everyday even if we still lived in the city - case closed.

hello trench coat

Coat is from Target, Striped Shirt is from The Gap, Legging Pants are from Banana Republic, boots are from Zara, headband from J.crew and necklace and sunglasses are vintage.

feeling trench coat-y today. not in a creepy-old-guy-hanging-out-at-a-playground type of trench coat-y, but just a springy, rainy, jumping through puddles type trench coat-y.

oh and we spent the day at Ikea and Target getting all apartmenty thing. gooooodness - I am SO excited to move in:)

Hello Akward Face

I'm not totally sure what this face is, but I can only assume it's a "wow its freezing and starting to rain, why the heck am I out here taking pictures?" face.

Just a guess though.

and I call this picture "girl about to run out of frame because she's freezing her butt off" catchy title if I do say so myself.

Anywho... I am wearing pants, ballet flats and messenger bag from Gap, swiss dot button-down from Jcrew, and vintage necklace from my great-grandmothers fabulous collection.

The Jcrew shirt I actually snagged at the thrift store for a measly two bucks. and of course I can't help by tell ANYONE that makes a comment about the shirt. I need to learn to just shut up and say "yeah it's from Jcrew" like I'm some snooty pants that actually buys it right off the rack and doesn't dig through their clearance section or hunt their stuff down at thrift stores or anything. *sigh* I just can't keep a good deal to myself I guess.
