These photos are actually from a few months back when I did a little feature and DIY for Cut Out + Keep (thanks again for asking me guys!). Now that I'm looking at them I'm just a wee bit sad that my duck boots are now in storage. Don't get me wrong, summer is the best in my book - I love running around barefoot more than anything, but I certainly do love slipping into my cozy little duckboots too. I'm sure it'll feel way too quick that fall sneaks up on us and I'll be putting them on again though - for now I'll just try to take full advantage of the days when shoes are pretty much optional:)

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Me and my mom are way too excited to spend plenty of time at the Devon Horse Show so I'm sure I'll have plenty of photos to share.

Back to back days of deer-themed clothing? I can't apologize for it, because I love it! My amazing sister got me this adorable shirt and I'm pretty darn head-over-duckboots for it. I mean, who doesn't love a shirt with cute little deer wandering all over? It's pretty lightweight so I'm excited to get plenty of wear out of it come warmer weather.

I've been kind of going crazy reading lately, both books and blogs, and have been feeling really inspired. I have probably five projects I'm currently working on and ten more I'm planning for. I love it, and am loving thinking about what I want out of the next year especially. I came across this blog post over on The Reverie Blog (it's a guest post by Julie of Cinnamon Girl) and felt like I had to share it. She writes beautifully and I especially love that second-to-last paragraph about not letting what other people do distract you or give way to your fear of failure. Definitely check it out if you have a few minutes - and both ladies blogs are lovely as well.

PS. Thanks so much to those of you who gave me your opinons the other day about my Etsy shop - they were all so sweet and I have been thinking a lot about each of them. Hopefully soon I'll have more of a "vision" of my direction to share with you:)

It's COLD. So cold in fact that you can't properly express how cold it is without all-caps. I am ready to run all the way back to Florida, and gladly live in a shoe-box as long as I'm in that sunshine! It (finally) snowed a few nights ago, but it didn't last long and ended up turning into a nasty mix of ice and snowy wet dirt. Yep. Gross. So the last few days have been strickly wearing your warmest clothes whenever walking out the door. Of course I've been tired of wearing jeans every day so I braved the world in a skirt. These boots are the shiz when it comes to keeping your toesies warm though! I honestly can't imagine my life (during the winter at least) without them! How's everyone else's winter going so far?
