I am actually the worst at listening to myself 😂 instead of paying attention to the fact that I’m in a little bit of a funk and maybe need a day to just chill and have fun, I usually get mad at myself for being completely unmotivated and spend the day fighting with myself instead ⁣
😩⁣
I’m trying to be better at giving myself what I need instead of fighting so hard 🙏 any tips for learning to not work against yourself? 😂 hit ya girl up!
It’s so easy to get swept up in the every day 🤪 never ending to do lists, puppies to take care of, Netflix specials to be watched ⁣
🙈⁣
Challenging myself to adopt a growth mindset has been a journey, let me tell ya. It’s easy to just go from activity to activity, but making myself stop to ask whether I’ve done something to help myself grow every day has been so eye opening ⁣
🌿⁣
It doesn’t have to be anything big or crazy, just something that pushes me a little farther. Some days it’s doing something totally new and scary, and other days it’s just reading something inspiring for a few minutes⁣
✨⁣
Anyone else get easily swept up in the day to day 🙋‍♀️ before I even realize it I swear two weeks have gone by sometimes 😂
Learning when to say yes and when to say no has been a game changer 🙌 after years of trying to build my career I was used to saying yes to everything, but now I find that ⁣
☝️ I don’t have the time to do everything and also keep my sanity⁣
✌️ Not everything that’s asked of me is in line with my big goals⁣
✨BUT✨ that doesn’t mean it’s not good to say YES sometimes too. I’ve found that usually it’s those things that scare me a little that are the best to say yes to. so if my gut is just a little queasy at the thought, then usually it’s a good thing to sign up for ⁣
